The 2024 Mathematical Society of the Philippines (MSP) CALABARZON Annual Convention and General Assembly begins today at the International Convention Center, CvSU Main Campus. This year’s theme is “Fostering Holistic Innovations Through Mathematics Research and Mathematics Education.”
The two-day event features CvSU Naic Math mentors Prof. Ferry M. Pabalate and Engr. Ervin F. Papa from the Arts and Sciences Department, alongside representatives from CvSU’s Main and satellite campuses, as well as various colleges and universities from across the region.
Dr. Hernando D. Robles, CvSU President, delivered the keynote address, warmly welcoming participants and esteemed plenary speakers, including Dr. Edwin A. Balila from the Adventist University of the Philippines, Dr. Allan M. Canonigo of NISMED UP Diliman, Dr. Neil Jerome A. Egargui of UP Los Baños, Dr. Nelda A. Nacion from De La Salle University (and an alumna of CvSU), and Prof. Lea Marissa S. Domingo of Cavite State University.
