The Research, Development, and Extension Services (RDES) office headed by Director Prof. Armina B.Pugay conducted a day-long meeting cum presentation of extension projects and initiatives of various departments of the Campus. The activity referred to as Extension project planning, monitoring, and evaluation was initiated by Prof. Emelita N. Sto Tomas, Extension unit head with the able assistance of Ms. Quennie M. Bilugan, Monitoring and Evaluation head. The activity was conceived to foster a deep and comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities and expectations vested in every party involved. It aimed to provide an inclusive and comprehensive discussion that could determine innovative strategies, address potential challenges and identify synergized opportunities for various university departments and external stakeholders.
Gracing the activity as resource speaker was Dr.Almira G. Magcawas, Director for Extension of Cavite State University Research Center. Dr. Mira shared her insights on the actual planning and packaging of extension programs stressing the need to strategically align collaborative efforts and operational effectiveness to research-based assessment of the needs of target communities.
