The Management Department of CvSU Naic organized and conducted the Thesis Proposal Writing Seminar on April 4, 2024 at the AQUAbest building which served as a pivotal event for third-year students pursuing degrees in BS Business Management & Hospitality Management. Four seasoned researchers were invited as resource speakers. Dr. Jerico Tadeo spoke on the importance of setting Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound objectives for their research followed by Prof. Aryel Rivera who provided practical guidelines in ensuring that scholarly work reflects a commitment to diversity and respect for all individuals. Prof. Mary Grace A. Ilagan shared her insights on strategies for navigating academic databases, critically evaluating scholarly sources, and in identifying gaps in existing literature. Dr. Zandro M. Catacutan gave a comprehensive overview of various research methodologies, such as qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods approach underscoring the importance of selecting the most appropriate methodology based on the research questions and objectives, as well as the strengths and limitations of each approach.
