CvSU Naic students Daniel Zan Baltazar, Eirmon John Paculan, and Paul Jackson Laerin, together with the Information and Technology Department faculty members Dr. Ricky Jay A. Riel, Mr. Marc Luigi G. Timola, and Dr. Sherrlyn M. Rasdas, participated in the Ideation Workshop: Agri-Tech Innovate—Accelerating Digital Solutions for Sustainable Agriculture and Fisheries (Digi Agri Hacki), held on March 31, 2025, at Cavite State University – Main Campus, Indang, Cavite.
The event featured insightful discussions led by experts, including Ms. Sherylou C. Alfaro, and inspiring messages from CvSU President Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro, DA-ATI CALABARZON Director Dr. Rolando V. Maningas, and DICT CALABARZON Director Felix S. Tabano. Industry leaders, representatives from DICT’s ICT Industry Development Bureau, and Agri Digital’s Mr. Henry Sison served as evaluators.
Students from CvSU Naic showcased their innovative digital solutions for sustainable agriculture and fisheries, culminating in a pitching session where they secured second place and qualified for the upcoming Boot Camp for further project development.
