The 4th International Conference on Women Empowerment and Leadership in Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources WELA 2026 was successfully held on March 17–19, 2026, at the CvSU International Convention Center, Indang, Cavite, anchored on the theme “Inclusive Leadership and Foresight for Sustainable Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources.” The event convened global and local stakeholders to promote gender-inclusive leadership, innovation, and sustainability in the AANR sectors.
Representing CvSU Naic were Campus Administrator Prof. Armina B. Pugay, Gender and Development GAD Unit Head Mr. Allan E. Evardo Jr., GAD Alternate Prof. Ma. Elizabeth E. Bravo, FASD GAD Coordinator Prof. Leah C. Lacson, and ITD GAD Coordinator Mr. Jomari M. Launio, demonstrating the campus’ strong commitment to advancing gender and development initiatives.
Supported by PCAARRD, the conference served as a vital platform for collaboration, capacity-building, and policy engagement, underscoring the critical role of women’s empowerment and leadership in addressing complex challenges and driving inclusive, sustainable growth in the agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources sectors.
