Demonstrating Cavite State University Naic’s commitment to advancing research and scholarly engagement, Dr. Jesus Paolo B. Cullado, Associate Professor of the Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Department (FASD), formally took his oath as an Associate Member of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) under Cluster 4 – Division VI (Agriculture and Forestry) during the NRCP Oath-Taking Ceremony, held virtually on June 10, 2026, as part of the 2026 NRCP Annual Scientific Conference and 23rd Visayas Regional Cluster Assembly.
The oath-taking ceremony was presided over by Dr. Michael Angelo B. Promentilla, NRCP President, and welcomed new regular and associate members from state universities and colleges across the country. Through membership in the NRCP, researchers gain opportunities to collaborate with a distinguished network of academicians, scientists, and scholars, contribute to research and innovation initiatives, and participate in programs that support the nation’s scientific and scholarly development.
Dr. Cullado’s induction into the Council signifies not only a personal academic milestone but also CvSU Naic’s continuing dedication to fostering research excellence, strengthening institutional linkages, and supporting initiatives that contribute to knowledge generation and sustainable national development.
