Representatives from Cavite State University Naic Campus, namely Dr. Sherlyn M. Rasdas, Dr. Michelle C. Tanega, and Mr. Edriane E. Serrano, participated in the 2025 National Extension Conference held on October 8–9, 2025, at the International Convention Center, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite.
Jointly organized by PhilEASNet, PAEPI, and Cavite State University, the national event gathered extension professionals and practitioners from government agencies, higher education institutions, and the private sector to foster dialogue, promote knowledge sharing, and strengthen collaborations toward advancing food and nutrition extension policies.
In line with Presidential Proclamation No. 75, which declares October as National Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Services Month, this conference served as a significant platform for advancing extension programs that contribute to community transformation and the economy of the future.
Highlights of the two-day conference included plenary discussions, scientific paper presentations, and recognition of outstanding extension research initiatives. Faculty from various CvSU campuses, including Naic and Bacoor, presented their extension papers during the parallel sessions on October 8, 2025, demonstrating the University’s continued commitment to community transformation and sustainable development.
