Faculty members from the Information Technology Department (ITD), Teacher Education Department (TED), Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Department (FASD), and Management Department (MD) represented CvSU Naic at the 2026 Annual Research Conference held on May 19, 2026, at the International Convention Center, CvSU Main Campus, Indang, Cavite. Organized by the Cavite State University Research Center, the conference carried the theme “Beyond Shaping Sustainable Futures: Creating Pathways to Inclusive and Transformative R&D for CvSU.”
The conference served as a venue for showcasing and evaluating completed faculty research projects across the natural sciences, social sciences, and development categories. Among the notable achievements, Dr. Ricky Jay A. Riel earned the 3rd Best Paper Award under the Development Category for his campus-funded study, “Development of a Data Warehouse System for Sea Turtle Nesting Logs with Integration of Predictive Analytics and Spatial Tagging.”
Meanwhile, Dr. Camille E. Moron, together with Prof. Sally A. Roguel and Prof. Zandro M. Catcutan, received the 2nd Best Paper Award in the Social Sciences Category for their research, “Makapuno Industry Profile in Laguna and NCR.”
These recognitions underscore CvSU Naic’s commitment to research excellence, innovation, and the pursuit of impactful solutions that contribute to sustainable and inclusive development.
