Faculty members from Cavite State University Naic participated in the 3rd International Conference on Research Inclusivity and Sustainability (InCRIS) 2025, held on April 23–25, 2025 at De La Salle University – Dasmariñas, Cavite. Representing CvSU Naic were Dr. Sherrlyn M. Rasdas, Dr. Michelle C. Tanega, Dr. Angelito Catajan, Jr., Dr. Abigail M. Miranda, Prof. Rhonalyn C. Papa, and Ms. Abigail S. Limos.
The conference aimed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative approaches aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The event featured three influential plenary sessions. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hien of Hanoi National University of Education discussed the role of teacher training in sustainable development in Vietnam. Dr. Narongrit Muangmai from Kasetsart University, Thailand, focused on sustainable food systems under SDG 2. Dr. Diosdado Zulueta of PHILARM and Marinduque State University emphasized the significance of global partnerships and innovation for SDG impact.
It was then concluded with a vibrant Cultural Festival and Fellowship Dinner themed “Philippine Fiesta,” celebrating Filipino heritage and global camaraderie through music, dance, and traditional attire.
The active participation of CvSU Naic faculty members underscored the university’s commitment to inclusive, data-driven, and globally responsive research. The event not only strengthened international academic networks but also inspired innovative strategies toward building more equitable and sustainable communities.
