TOO-BIG-TO-IGNORE | CvSU Naic, being one of the founding members, attended the signing of the memorandum of agreement for the implementation of the projects of the National Consortium for Small-Scale Fisheries Research and Development or Too-Big-To-Ignore (TBTI) Philippines. The activity was held at the Little Theater of UP Visayas – Iloilo City Campus on July 11, 2023.
CvSU Naic Campus Administrator, Prof. JNepomuceno, signed the agreement on behalf of the Campus. In addition, TBTI’s book, Portrait of Small-Scale Fishers in the Philippines, was launched. One of the essays published in the book is about the stories of small-scale fishers and sea patrollers in Naic, Cavite, authored by Nepomuceno. The day ended after an Executive Committee Meeting attended by the heads of all universities/ colleges/ higher education institutions composing the TBTI. Together with the Campus Administrator was Mr. Jomel Limbago, CvSU Naic Research Unit Head.
