Cavite State University Naic participated in the 3rd Regional Research and Innovation Week (RRIW) organized by STAARRDEC on October 27–30, 2025, held at De La Salle University–Dasmariñas, Cavite.
The event was attended by student delegates Lance Rhenier P. Ancheta (BSIT), Arvielyn P. Diosomito (BSIT), John Erivin S. Apurado (BSCS), Leo Robin L. Binavente (BSCS), and Sheryn M. Rasdas (BSCS), along with faculty members Dr. Ricky Jay A. Riel, Dr. Michelle C. Tanega, Dr. Sherrlyn M. Rasdas, and Mr. Jomari M. Launio.
This year’s RRIW featured insights from Dr. Ching of DLSU-D, whose expertise highlighted the importance of strong research and development management and collaborative innovation. A major component of the week-long event was the i-SIKAT Ideation and Hackathon, which included workshops, mentoring sessions, and final pitching activities.
A key highlight for CvSU Naic was the successful presentation and pitch by Mr. Lance Rhenier P. Ancheta on October 29, 2025, showcasing the team’s innovation for the i-SIKAT competition. CvSU Naic commends its delegates for contributing to research-driven solutions that support the AANR sector.
