In line with its commitment to community service and educational innovation, CvSU Naic, through the TechBridge Extension Program – Project 3: TechReady, conducted a training workshop at the Amaya School of Home Industries on February 27, 2026. The activity, attended by ICTSO and CSSO officers, faculty members, and ITD part-time instructors, focused on equipping ALS educators and learners with tools for disaster risk reduction and life-saving skills.
Speakers and trainers included Dr. Michelle C. Tanega and Mr. Marc Luigi G. Timola, who introduced the RESCUETECH mobile application, a gender-responsive tool designed to educate learners on hazard preparedness and ensure inclusive resilience. Dr. Norbert G. Arellano led a Basic Life Support hands-on workshop, further enhancing the participants’ practical skills.
The program aimed to empower educators with inclusive instructional materials, foster gender-sensitive learning, and strengthen the capacity of learners and teachers to respond effectively to emergencies. Through this initiative, CvSU Naic continues to promote community resilience, disaster preparedness, and quality education for all.
