MD OJT Orientation 2025 | On February 19, 2025, the Management Department of CvSU Naic organized the MD OJT Orientation 2025 at the AquaBEST building. This event was attended by 2nd and 4th-year BS Hospitality Management students and 4th-year BS Business Management students who are about to embark on their On-the-Job Training (OJT) or internship programs. The orientation aimed to equip the students with essential knowledge on sexual harassment awareness, professionalism in the workplace, and OJT policies and procedures.
Mr. Ariel R. Rivera, a GAD Resource Speaker, provided valuable insights on sexual harassment in the workplace, including its impact and the necessary steps for prevention and reporting. His discussion emphasized the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful working environment. Ms. Jysa C. Magluyan, Sports and Recreations Manager at Forest Crest Nature Hotel and Restaurant, shared her expertise on workplace ethics, grooming standards, and professional decorum to help students maintain high standards of professionalism in their training environments.
Additionally, Prof. Marilyn L. Tesorero and Prof. Sally A. Roguel, OJT Coordinators for BSHM and BSBM respectively, discussed the OJT policies, procedures, documentary requirements, and performance evaluation criteria. They provided the students with comprehensive guidelines to ensure a smooth and productive internship experience.
The event concluded with the students reciting the pledge of commitment, vowing to uphold the university’s tenets of truth, excellence, and service throughout their OJT journey. The MD OJT Orientation 2025 successfully prepared students to enter the professional world with integrity and competence.
