In celebration of World Water Day 2026, the FASD faculty members and PAWIKan Team, led by Campus Administrator Prof. Armina B. Pugay, actively participated in a multi-sectoral clean-up drive at Bucana Malaki, Naic, Cavite on March 21, 2026. Sponsored by the LGU Naic Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office MENRO, the activity brought together representatives from LGU Naic, various NGAs, NGOs, the coast guards, PNP, and local communities to promote environmental awareness and protect vital water resources.
Anchored on the theme “Water and Gender: Where Water Flows, Equality Grows,” the initiative highlighted the collective responsibility of safeguarding waterways and fostering sustainable practices. OIC MENRO Mr. Michael Ceaser A. Alcantara welcomed participants and emphasized that caring for the environment begins with individual action. The clean-up drive along Bucana Malaki’s coastline underscored the importance of unity and active engagement in ensuring sustainable water resource management.
