CvSU Naic officially kicked off the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Pawikan Hatchery II and Pawikan Conservation & Information Center on April 8, 2025, at the CvSU Naic Mabolo Annex, Mabolo, Naic, Cavite.
In partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Naic and the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA), this milestone event marks the start of building new facilities dedicated to protecting marine turtles and raising public awareness on marine conservation.
Key personnel from CvSU Naic, LGU Naic, and PRA gathered to celebrate this commitment to marine biodiversity. The project, covering a 350 square meter area with a total budget of ₱2,060,000, aims to create a sanctuary for hatchlings and an educational hub for conservation advocacy.
Approved by the University Board of Regents (BOR Resolution No. 46, s. 2024) and solidified through a partnership agreement signed on October 11, 2024, the Pawikan Hatchery II and Conservation Center symbolize a unified vision for sustainable marine stewardship.
