The celebration began at the Naic Town Plaza with the Pawikan Color Run, drawing nearly 2,000 participants in support of marine conservation. This was followed by the Pawikan Zumba, where participants enthusiastically danced in solidarity with the advocacy of protecting pawikans.
The festivities continued at the Naic Covered Court through a Cheer Chant Competition that showcased the talents and creativity of participants dedicated to promoting awareness of pawikan conservation in Naic’s coastal communities. A Pawikan Environmental Forum was also conducted to strengthen public understanding of environmental protection efforts.
In the afternoon, participants gathered at the Pawikan Sanctuary for the Pawikan Coastal Clean-Up, reinforcing the community’s commitment to preserving marine habitats. The day concluded with the much-anticipated Pawikan Releasing Ceremony, symbolizing collective responsibility and hope for the continued protection of pawikans in the coastal areas of Naic.
